"Avada Kedavra!"
"Expelliarmus!"
Those two spells held the key to the future as each was cast at the other wizard, Harry Potter using a simple Disarming Spell that he had learned back as a second year student, while the Dark Lord Voldemort used his signature spell, the Killing Charm that had taken so many lives. And to the surprise of everyone who witnessed that moment, the outcome was entirely different from what they thought it would have been, for the one who came out standing was noneother than Harry Potter, Elder Wand in hand.
Now, twenty-five years later, things are a lot different than people would have thought. The children of the trio and those who fought in the Great Battle of Hogwarts are now attending the school themselves, housed in the same places that their parents once were. Hogwarts remains as it was, still accepting students for schooling in the fine arts of witchcraft and wizardry, knowing how important it is to know who you are.
But with each new generation that graces the halls of the school, old rivalries remain. Potter against Malfoy, things begin to take shape, Gryffindor against Slytherin, somethings never change. But there are always exceptions, the odd Slytherin remaining friends with a Gryffindor, or even a Ravenclaw student, just to spite the old ways. But with that comes a whole new batch of trouble, and rumours that are behind it all.
It was whispered that many of the Slytherins, still sore from their loss during the Battle of Hogwarts a quarter century before, are plotting against the school once more, prepared to go the extra mile in order to prove that they are superior to those of mixed blood or mudblood decent. Together, they came together, deciding who is best to lead them to vistory over the rest of the school, who was trained best to do it. There has been no selection yet, but they have the Order on edge, a group that disbanded at the end of the war.
Now there is worry of a Slytherin uprising, but some of the students aren't willing to sit back and let it happen. Potters and Weasleys, among other students, are standing together, trying to come up with their own way to keep the Slytherins at bay, and so far, they have only reached one conclusion.
To secretly reform the DA.
Will the Slytherins choose a new heir to Voldemort? Can the DA pull themselves together in time? Will they be found out?
Minister of Magic Missing!
Late last night, Ministry Officials were dispatched to the offices of the Minister of Magic. After being forced to destroy the door, they found the office had been destroyed, and the Minister, nowhere to be found.
The Minister's personal secretary had been on her way to bid her boss a good-night when she heard struggling on the other side of the door. Finding it to be locked, she dared not to invade his offices without his permission and contacted the Aurors immediately. By the time they arrived, it was too late.
No new leads have been made in this case, nor any suspects named. It is clear, however, that the Aurors who have viewed the crime scene do have ideas as to who or what could have committed the act. Reporters were unable to get inside, or get comment from anyone.
