Its been 20 years since Voldemort was last defeated. Since then, everoyne has lived peacefully, until a string of very strange events. The first, was the reappearance of Death Eaters. This was followed by the rumors that somehow Voldemort had been brought back to life. Many were skeptical, as they believed Harry Potter had finally killed him, and finished the evil that was Lord Voldemort. Then when the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters launched an attack on the Ministry of Magic, an immense battle broke out.
Three of the last remaining aurors led the forces of good against the Dark Lord. Ericus Black, Syn Kimaki, and of course, Harry Potter. As Ericus and Syn teamed up to take on the Death Eaters, Harry and Voldemort faced off once again. The duel that took place caused both of them to become incredibly weakened. Harry, along with his family and many of his friends, fled into hiding. Ericus and Syn escaped, and went into hiding for a short while.
Harry kept in contact with the two of them, who, at Harry's behest, reopened Hogwarts to teach young wizards and witches. Magical Institutions had been closed on orders from Voldemort, who many believe to have died from natural causes related to his duel with Harry. There are many, however who believe otherwise. The atmosphere at Hogwarts, however, is a happier one, just like in the days when Harry Potter attended. Ericus Black, the current headmaster, now waits for any young witches and wizards who wish to learn more of their abilities.
